Wow I didn't know exploding things is a skill someone could have. But I guess I should have because Tommy is actually not bad at it.

of course it's a skill! if you blow up things you don't wanna blow up then you're really bad at it but if you practice a lot and get to try new powers to learn new ways of blowing things up then you can only blow things up that you mean to

okay sometimes it goes badly like with knife hands and those trash cans but that was a tactical error because I really did think maybe they were gonna transform into a Sentinel

It's hard to explain. He's just...lucky. like, he could fall down a flight of stairs carrying a tray of antique china and everything would go flying but he would miraculously catch his balance and all the stuff would land on the tray again?

It's like, crazy good luck happens to him.

Oh. I have the opposite. I don't even think it's my powers, I just had really bad luck. I could be walking on an even surface and still trip and break fancy dishes that are on the other side of the room.

When you hit things with hot plasma, they burn, explode or melt, depending.

It's not super useful in normal life but I can always light a BBQ.

And we can take things on your schedule - but with chaos powers, it is generally better to get a handle on them before you accidentally shatter all the windows because of a sneeze. I am, unfortunately, speaking from experience.
